| Saturday 12 July 2025 | Romsey - Stockbridge and back Starting from Green Acre, Halterworth Lane, Romsey SO51 9AD at 10:00. 34 miles Average .10am start from our house; coffee at the Wellow fishery (I think it was last year we stopped here too, a lovely location) after 16km and then via small lanes to Stockbridge for lunch (at about 37km, bring sandwiches) and then a loop back home for a total of 54km.
There are obvious ways to shorten or lengthen that as required.
My planner says 500m of ascent and descent, most of that clustered around 4 locations on the route, two before the coffee stop and then one before and after lunch. The majority of the distance is reasonably easy going.

| Thursday 15 May 2025 | Brunch Ride Starting from Thorp Arch Retail Park LS23 7FE at 10:30. 20 miles Easy . The ride starts from outside Tim’s Café, Thorp Arch Retail Park, Avenue D, LS23 7FE (what3words ///populate.choppers.tuned) at 10:30 for a gentle ride via Bilbrough to Doylys Café in Bolton Percy. There is ample free parking in the Retail Park. Return via Tadcaster. The route will be a mix of segregated cycle path, quiet lanes and some stretches of busier roads. Length only about 20 miles but you can expand your ride into Wetherby or other villages nearby once we return to Thorp Arch at around 1:30. If you want a longer ride you could park in the Wilderness Car Park, Wetherby, LS22 6RF and cycle out to meet us at Thorp Arch Retail Park via National Cycle Route 655 (West Yorkshire Cycle Route).
