August's ride is on the 22nd, and we will be paying our annual visit to South Shropshire. Ian and Karen Aldred will be leading the ride and have promised to miss out all of the big hills!
The ride will start from Bishop's Castle (see details below) and we will ride a 20 mile loop before having a picnic lunch in the garden at Ian and Karen's new home in Kempton. They will be happy to supply tea and coffee but you will need to bring your own picnic and a rug to sit on. After lunch we will ride a 13 mile loop back to Bishop's Castle.
In the event of adverse weather, Ian and Karen have graciously offered to still host us for tea and coffee and we can sit inside for a catch up or perhaps to wait for the weather to clear. We will let you know of any alternate plans the day before depending on the forecast.
Please let us know if you intend to join us, especially as Ian and Karen will need to know how many tea cups to get ready.
