Derby/Sheffield

The Bakewell ride originally planned for 15 May has been further postponed to August . But Jane & I would still like to use the day for a ride - maybe in the Sheffield/Penistone areas so as to give Yorkshire a chance to feature. If anyone has a ride to offer please do get in touch. Alternatively  we could re-run one of   the tried and tested  Ashbourne - Waterhouses - Hartington or Derby - Calke Abbey - Melbourne rides. Or experiment with something between Chesterfield and Rother Valley Country Park. If you are interested in joining a ride on Thursday 15 May please do get in touch and we will work something out.

Starting from the old Bakewell station, this 27 mile tour takes in the Monsal trail, and quiet roads to Miller's Dale, Tideswell, Eyam and Baslow, with a final stop at Chatsworth farm shop café before the descent to Bakewell. To be led by Glyn and Helen
