Good evening all Here are the details for our ride on Saturday 14th November Given the time of year the ride finishes immediately after lunch where we will almost be back at our start point.Parking: Cattlemarket Car Park: OX10 0HF There is a charge for parking here. Alternatively you can park for free in the road at Benson Lane, which is over the bridge, and left at the roundabout going towards Benson. Start Café: Coffee#1 in Wallingford, located at 20-21 Market Place, Wallingford, OX10 0AD .Meet at 10:00 with departure from there at 10:30 The ride is 25 miles and, knowing how attaching the route can affect people receiving the email, we will send you the GPX route if you’re coming. What 3 Words - equipping.matchbox.grape. I suggest we leave at 10.30. Car park is £3.10 for 24hrs. There is a coffee and cake booth in the car park and a public toilet about 200yds south of the car park. We’ll stop for coffee at the Wobbly Wheel cafe next door to Partridges Cycle shop after about 6 flatish miles. Then a fairly challenging uphill to Haldon Activity Centre for a gourmet lunch. The ride starts from Blake End Craft Centre (CM77 6SH) which is between Gt Dunmow and Braintree. Meet at 10am for a 10.30 departure. There is plenty of free parking at the centre and also a good cafe - The Grain Shed- for coffee and snack before the ride. We will also have lunch there at the end of the ride as there are very few other venues. We will have to pre-book a table as they get busy on a Sunday menus, but no need to pre-order.
