Or meet at Severn Bridge (junction of Passage Road and A403 just outside Aust village. Alan plans to use the downstream cycle path, for a change!) at 09:45.
Coffee at Chepstow Garden Centre and then via Shirenewton, Wentwood, Llanvaches to lunch at the Rock and Fountain on the A48 at Penhow.
Return via A48 cycle path/Caerwent, Mathern and the Bridge.
About 43 miles from Thornbury; a long steady climb after coffee with a good downhill run to lunch then, except for the climb up to the Bridge, broadly flat.
