Yorkshire: Wonders of Wakefield

Start point will be Waterfront Car Park, Barnsley Road, Wakefield WF1 5JT from 1.00 pm for a 1.30 start. Parking is free on Sundays. The route is about 21 miles of mixed quiet road and track. The track sections are rideable on a road tandem with just one spot where we may have to dismount to manoeuvre our tandems. There will be a coffee stop about half way round at Nostell Priory. I have attached a leaflet about the route which takes in many places of historic and cultural interest. As always, it would be useful to know if you are planning to come so we can let the café know.
