Cycle routes Maastricht to Luxembourg

We are due to drive out to the Netherlands in a few weeks to collect our son Jos from uni in Maastricht. We have decided to go cycle camping with the tandem from there for an 8 day tour in the direction of Luxembourg, Does anyone have any recommendations for campsites or routes or must see highlights? We have spotted the Vennbahn and also the Eurovelo route 5. Any ideas appreciated.

I would highly recommend the Vennbahn. Take a detour down to Monschau. Gorgeous half timbered village beside the river. Very interesting history about the Vennbahn: https://youtu.be/KEM_cp6hVeM

We cycled on our Pino tandem in Luxembourg last year and found that the Sรปre/Sauer Valley cycle track from the Mosel (Wasserbillig) to Ettelbruck (centre of Luxembourg) was excellent.  You can download a map of Luxembourg cycle routes here:  ProVelo.lu - Leisure time  The map shows the Vennbahn at the top of the plan.
