Tandems on Irish Trains

Does anyone know if tandems are OK on Irish Rail?  The web site says max length of the bike is 1.8m, no mention of tandems.  Ours is just over without the front wheel

You can take bikes on lots of the busses (large coaches). Not sure about dimensions - but you could give them a call.
