Phil & Julie's Saturday ride

Starting from Yew Tree Garden Centre, Ball Hill, Newbury (RG20 0NG) at 09:30 for 10:00 start. 27 miles, Average .

Dear Members of the Thameswey Regional Group,

November’s ride will be on *Saturday* 15th November and will be a repeat of the ride around our corner of West Berkshire and North Hampshire, stopping off for lunch at the John O' Gaunt Inn at Hungerford (RG17 0EG) followed by a leisurely ride back.  This time around it is on a Saturday so that the campanologists can attend.

We will start at the Yew Tree Garden Centre, Ball Hill, Newbury (RG20 0NG) for coffee and cake in their lovely café; meeting at 9:30am and departing promptly at 10:00am.   We can leave our cars in their car park for the day.

The morning route is 18.6 miles from the garden centre to the pub.  If the weather is inclement, then there is a short cut we can take that cuts this to 10.5 miles.

The ride back from the pub is 9.2 miles (or 7.8 as a more direct route).

I need to confirm final numbers to the pub on Saturday 8th November, so please let me know if you will be joining us for the ride and meal on or before Friday 7th November.  Please also include your menu choices.
