Santana Tandem or similar

Neil Wheadon2025-09-03 23:54:16

After 35 years of cycling our Mercian at many rallies, to Australia and with James and Louise as stokers, Sarah and Neil are looking for another tandem with a longer stoker top tube. During the International this year in the Netherlands we tried out a variety of tandems and we are looking for a Santana or Co Motion Tandem with couplings.

We are not looking for an electric tandem so if you are considering changing your tandem to maybe an electric or wish to sell a tandem we would be very interested. Out heights ate 5 foot 8 and 5 foot 6.

Our fall back is JD tandems to order a bespoke build but if by any chance a great replacement is out there, we'd love to purchase it

Obviously we are prepared to pay an appropriate figure for the right bike

Good morning Neil,

I do have a titanium team 700 Santana with S and S couplings surplus to requirements, as three Santanas is probably one too many. It is the older sort with double coupled tubes rather than a single oval drainpipe.i have just got back home from the ITR2025, so no photos yet.

Hi Neil  I have a a Santana Beyond for sale , a lovely fast Tandem Carbon and Titanium frame, I put invisiframe over most of the tubes so no marks! If the S&S couplings are essential then this is not for you as it does not have them, If you are interested I can send you photos, it was flat bar when I bought it now converted to deops, I did add a Cyntronex but can convert back and remove the power, Was advised to put on steel forks because of the torque but can revert to the carbon forks. Let me know of interest
