Two Pilot spots for Loire Valley trip with Traveleyes_May17-24

Hello Tandem Cyclists,

I'm from a travel organisation called Traveleyes and wanted to share details of an exciting tandem trip through the Loire Valley.

Founded by blind entrepreneur, Amar Latif OBE, Traveleyes takes thousands of blind and sighted adventurers all over the world. Our trips are a bit different to your average trip as half the group are blind and half are fully sighted. Each day, we pair a different sighted traveller with a different blind traveller, and in return for guiding and describing the sights, our sighted travellers receive a significant discount off the cost of their holiday.

The tandem cycling trip we have coming up is through the beautiful surrounds of the Loire Valley, from 17-24th May 2025 (8 days), and we currently have spots for two sighted travellers to fill. I wondered if anyone in the Tandem Club would be interested in this kind of adventure.

Please find a link to the trip here: https://www.traveleyes-international.com/holidays/cycling-in-the-loire-valley/

Here is also a link offering more information about how the trips work for sighted travellers: https://www.traveleyes-international.com/sighted-travellers/

Thank you for reading!

Image description: Chambord Castle is reflected in the still waters of the Loire river in the foreground. Title: Cycling in the Loire Valley. Subtitle: On a bicycle made for two! Dates: May 17-May 24, 2025. Heading: WELCOME TO FRANCE. The Loire Valley has some of the best cycling routes in France and is also bursting with spectacular châteaux to explore, wonderful wines to taste, and idyllic riverside routes to travel along. On this week-long, twin centre holiday we will stay in charming medieval towns, visit some of the best-known châteaux of the region, partake in a classic French cookery class and sample some of the sumptuous local wines – and all under our own steam, on tandem bicycles! Riding over four days out of the eight days, we’ll cover around 158km on well-maintained, easy paths with a non-cycling day in each centre. As well as exploring these amazing chateaux, there will be picnics in the sunshine, boat trips on the river and the opportunity to see where Leonardo Davinci lived, many models of his designs and works of art. This really is a wonderful opportunity to visit a fascinating and beautiful corner of France.
