please get in touch if you have had this happen to you.
regards Alan
I've recently had some odd emails from "lupianjose27@yahoo.com" wanting to buy a tandem.
no name or other details given.
be careful.
Andrew
Yes he's been messaging us to very pushy we stopped responding and told him, cash on collection only.
we had a few similar emails I think it's possibly the same person messaging from different email accounts. He insists on paying with a check and sending the courier we will not comfy with it was possibly a scam, but unsure he could of been just old fashioned in the way he dealt with things, but we didn't want to take the risk.

I too have had an attempted scam by this person re HASE Pino advert.
Checked with my bank if safe to give bank sort code and account number inc name of account.
Sent as agreed. He then asked for full name, address, and to do transaction by cheque. Refusal led to no further contact.
Gave an address in Edinburgh but that means nothing.
I have found the same scams on a used catering equipment for sale board and believe that since eBay and Vinted virtually eliminated financial scamming, these scammers now haunt for sale board websites. The good news is that the scammer is almost certainly a real person - the bad news is AI scamming awaits in the wings.
