If you have wanted to try one of these but have been put off by the price (currently around £300 even before any import duty) this might be the opportunity you have been waiting for, these seatposts are at the time of writing out of stock on the kinekt.eu website.

Due to a change of previous plans I have a BodyFloat 2.0 isolation/suspension seat post for sale in as new condition. There are a few surface marks on the part of the post that goes into the seat tube where it was once installed but that’s all, it is immaculate. This model is currently referred to as the LR version.

I am including an unused Kinekt protective wrap to protect the mechanism, these are normally priced at €20. This seat post comes with the original owner’s manual and original attached delivery label.

Post Size: 350mm in length with a diameter of 27.2mm. If your seat tube has an internal diameter greater that 27.2mm shims are widely available to reduce the working internal diameter, Cane Creek make excellent ones.

These seatposts smooth out the ride, no matter what type of bike you choose, or what type of terrain you are on, increasing in-the-saddle comfort and reducing back, leg, and hip fatigue, ensuring that you get the most enjoyment out of every pedal stroke, on every ride.

The seatposts are easy to install and adjust, and a range of springs can be obtained, so that you can custom-tune the ride feel to match your weight and preferences, all details are available on the Kinekt website. This post is currently fitted with two purple springs.

The seatposts also feature a spring preload adjuster knob so that you can further refine the performance of your seatpost, mid ride if needed!
