Route Notes
This route is aimed at Moonstone miniatures, which is opening especially for the Tandem Club. Scattered though Mrs Booths house are 20 miniature houses and rooms. Each contain details in miniature and include a 16 room mansion, 3 story light house and a Gothic stately home to name but a few. Many of the houses are there to be opened and explored but please take great care when touching any of the exhibits. There is a spotters quiz which is a permanent fixture, but for our visit 10 more questions will be asked with the answers and prizes being supplied back at the campsite. This visit is especially suitable for children though any age may enter.
There is also a labyrinth in the village built for the millennium as well as two pubs so there is much to do.

Kirkpatrick Durham (NX787703) Over twenty scale models are sited at Moonstone miniatures. There is a spotters quiz where you can try to find the barmaids false teeth etc.
Charge Adult 2.00, Child 1.00 Under 5 free Tel 01566 650313. There is no discount here as 10% of 2.00 is pretty meaningless but the proprietor is supplying a prize for her quiz.
