Real Ale Train - Camping Weekend

Following last year's succesful weekend Martin Jenny Green and Trevor Shirley Butt have suggested another foray into the Real Ale World on The Watercress Line in Hampshire. Real Ale Train Tickets are 12.00 which includes a free pint when booked in advance.
The Camp Site
Two Hoots Campsite is close to Ropley Station, one of the halts on the Watercress Line that runs the twelve miles from Alton to Alresford in mid-Hampshire. The site is so named as you can not only can hear the hoots of the train but also those of the local owls.
The Programme
A pleasant ride on Saturday to work up a thirst culminating with a ride on the RAT's train to sample some real ale, a thirst quenching isotronic drink full of carbohydrates and vitamins?
A 'Recovery' ride on Sunday around the local Hampshire lanes with a pub lunch followed by a visit to the railway sheds at Ropley or something similar.
The Railway
Travel in a restored bar carriage hauled by a preserved steam locomotive. Real Ales, Soft Drinks, Hot Food and Snacks are available on the train
