Suggested day | Distance in Km. | Destination | Description | Route details | Google maps | gpx links |
Sunday | 45 | Guemene sur Scorff | This ride takes you through the usual pretty countryside, past the village of Langoelan with it's lake (picnic?) and bistro (L'Etalier tel:02 97 51 37 81) – but then along the Scorff river valley (very easy;-) to Guemene, a large, bustling village with lots of shops and places to eat and a small market on Thursday. Thence back via Silfiac. Generally an easy ride and quiet – the ride to Guemene being down overall and the return a gentle climb. | Link
Sunday | 50 (46) | Mur-de-Bretagne & Lac de Gueledan | The ride to Mur is almost all flattish cyclepath – and lulls you into a false sense of security as the return below the lake is very hilly though gorgeous woodland. If you chicken out you can always just return on the cyclepath.. | Link | Link
Sunday | 110 (99) | Guemene sur Scorff & Plouay | A gentle ride through lovely countryside to the cycling Museum at Plouay- very little traffic and lots of places to stop and see or have a bit to eat and a drink;-) | Link | Link
Monday | 75 (77) | Callac | This route takes you through pretty countryside and the little town of Callac where you can find plenty to recharge the legs after the morning's ride... | Link | Link

Thursday | 125 (132) | Huelgoat | This is a long and fairly hard cycle ride, but with the huge reward of varied countryside and the perfect little town of Huelgoat as a midday stop. It's not a route that is easily cut short so once in Hoelgoat you are comitted to the return! | Link | Link
Friday | 50 (51) | Tremarget | This ride takes you through the usual pretty countryside, past the beautiful church at Kergriste and on to you real target – the special little restaurant 'Le Coriandre'. This place is in a tiny village and produces, for 14 Euro, a delightful and often original daily menu all made with organic and almost entirely local produce. The good news is that the return is (with one short but very steep hill) almost all downhill so that your groaning stomachs will not suffer too much... Friday | 80 (72) | Pontivy | Starting easy but with some hills in the second section this route takes you along the canal towpath, then the V6 cyclepath to Mur de Bretagne. then to Pontivy and looping back along the south of the lake - lots to see and do;-) | Link | Link |
