Where do I start? We’ve owned this since Jan 2020 and the intended stoker hasn’t been able to ever ride it as she had a nasty wrist fracture from an OTB on her single bike the very same weekend that I picked the tandem up. 🙄
It started as a Viking Arundel with original parts made to a price, so I upgraded most things to make it more durable and comfortable and the guest stokers who’ve ridden it have had a lot of fun on it and made it fly, but not regularly or often enough.
The frame, rear brakes, brake levers and the BBs are original. All else has been upgraded including Alex Rims 48 spoke with Schwalbe Marathon Mondial, new 24 speed drivetrain with SPD pedals, front disc and a rear suspension seatpost with Selle Italia saddles to finish it off.
Pannier rack and mudguards are included but not the pannier bags. I think £400 is a fair price for this as it’s done about 200 miles with this configuration.
