For Sale: Roberts Tandem 21 x 20.1/2

A 21 inch (front) x 20.1/2 inch (rear) tandem built for us in the 1980s by Chas Roberts with Magura hydraulic rim brakes (front and rear) plus an Arai drum brake operated by the stoker. It has Shimano gears with 9 speed block and triple chainrings and Brooks B17 saddles. It has given us good service including Lands End to John O'Groats in 1991. Since getting a Longstaff 2 years later the Roberts became our 'second' tandem, only being used only occasionally. Admittedly there is a bit of rust and damaged paintwork in places, but most of this is only superficial. (the worst rust is on the stretcher between the chainstays where the rear mudguard clips on, but as this gives no structural strength to the tandem it does not impact at all on the strength and stability of the tandem)   Hence the lower price compared with other Roberts tandems on offer here.

As we have no means of transporting the tandem, the buyer must collect or arrange collection
