For Sale: Orbit 2013 Routier Sport Tandem18/14

After many years riding a tandem including our Silver Wedding celebration trip around the route of The Hell of the North in 1996 we now use single electric bikes for our cycling trips and have decided to sell our lovely Orbit Routier. We bought this in 2013 for a 5ft 8inch and 5 ft 4inch stoker and it was so much easier to get on and off. 

In common with many Orbit tandems of this era it is fitted to a high standard with the following:

Shimano Deore gears and calliper brakes fortified with a Bengal disc on the rear wheel.

It has Truvativ/Lasco chain sets 48/36/24 with Shimano rear set of  9 rings, 12 to 34 and Welllgo pedals and strapless toe clips. All wonderfully easy to use and capable of some serious hill climbing.

The wheels are Alex DH19 rims with Shwalbe Marathon 700/32 tyres on 48 spoke ally hubs.

We are selling it with the very useful Ortlieb front bag, Catseye trip computer and rear bag carrier which has provided support for a couple of bags on our week long trips around beautiful East Anglia.
