Gorgeous 1980s Orbit touring tandem. 54cm frame. Resprayed in gold with decorative hand-cut lugs, renovated by Bob Jackson. Strong, quick-release wheels. Schwalbe Cruiser tyres. 

Long rear crossbar giving spacious ride for stoker over long distances. Hydraulic rear seat stem and Brooks saddle.

It comes equipped with a stoker-operated rear drag drum brake in addition to the cantilevers. Shimano SPD pedals are available (not pictured) at no extra charge.

 

Very strong Tubus pannier carrier. 

Rides well in most gears but front chainset requires attention to stop slipping in high gear (local bike shop quoted £50 for job).  Hence the low price. The frame alone is worth way more than the asking price.

Happy to drop the bike in and get this work done for you if add an extra £50 to your bid. 

Otherwise in great condition for age.
