The 2015 Easter Rally took place in Greetham village which lies in England's smallest ceremonial county of Rutland. The local Anglican church of St. Mary the Virgin was largely rebuilt between the 13th. and 15th. centuries but parts date back to Norman times. Merry's Meadow a SSSI lies wihin the parish.

Maps:
OS landranger 130/924148. In keeping with Tandem Club tradition the campsite is on the bottom of the map so Maps 129 and 141 will be useful.

Campsite:
Rutland Camping and Caravan site sits in the heart of Rutland with the Viking Way long distance footpath close by. The Jubilee Community Centre, venue for our social evening and AGM, is less than half a mile away. Oakham with a range of smaller shops is just 6 miles away and Melton Mowbray is 15 miles. Rutland Caravan and Camping is a Caravan Club Affiliated Site. We were able to use the large rally field.

Village:
Greetham village boasts a village shop and post office together with three good pubs serving meals. Greetham Valley Golf and Conference centre has a restaurfant and will deliver pre-ordered meals to the campsite for 6.00 pm. The village is a five minute walk from the back of the campsite. Bring a torch if you want to walk back after dark - no street lights.
