: Can anyone give me any info on the maker etc of a Southern Cross Tandem
: please - probably 1970s as it has 27 wheels and canti bosses on the forks.
I think I have one of the last two Southern Cross tandems built. I never saw the other one, but Stanley Lang built two more frames in 1976: mine went to Woodstock Ontario (where I lived at the time) and the other went to Toronto. Both were set up with cranks, brakes etc. by the makers of Mariposa bicyles--I don't remember the name of the shop itself. My bike was rarely used: my 'ex' didn't like being a 'stoker' despite her weak wrists, and eventually the bike ended up in my posession again twenty years later and half a continent further removed! I would like to find a new home for this wonderful machine...any interest out there?
