We've just come back from a 200-mile tour round Finisterre (Brittany) on our Viking Tarantino which we bought earlier in the summer. The bike was great and did not let us down at all.
There was one thing that started about half way round which puzzled us, which was the bike made a knocking or banging noise, coming from somewhere on the drivetrain. It only happens when the bike is being pedalled, not freewheeling. It occurs exactly once per pedal revolution, at the same point in the pedal cycle. It does happen with only one person riding but frustratingly, it has not been possible to replicate it by spinning the pedals with the bike stationary, even with rear brake applied to give some resistance.
Has anyone come across this?
