For UK people owning a UK based credit or debit card, the Club can accept credit and debit card payments in GBP (UK Pounds) through NOCHEX, an independent processor of secure online card payments. This allows a credit or debit card, issued by a UK bank or building society, to be used to pay your subscription provided you can supply a valid email address - you are not charged for using this facility and it makes it very much easier for us. Email addresses are only used for club use.
You can make a payment direct into one of the Club's GBP and Euro bank accounts using BACS internet bank transfer.
Cheques can be accepted in any currency. However there is a 6 GBP (equivalent of) charge for any cheques not written in GBP or Euros.
Further details of these payment methods are given when you apply online to join the Club.
If you have supplied the club with an email address then a renewal email will be sent to you automatically. This email contains a link which will allow you to update your details and renew. This is the best way as most of the form will be automatically filled in for you and it will make it easier for us. If you haven't supplied an email address in the past, please send an email to the Renewal secretary with your email address and membership number (if known) and they will arrange for a renewal email to be sent to you. Alternatively you will also receive a notice with your Tandem Club journal when it is time to renew as a postal form. This has a web link that can be used to renew. Althernatively, you can renew or leave the club by entering your details in the although this is harder for us. Please enter your membership number, if known, in the "Member Num" field. If you cannot use the Internet you can fill in the postal form and send it to the Renewal secretary address is given on the paper form.
By default you will be given a website login account. This will enable you to access Tandem Club members information and book for events in a simpler fashion. If you don't want this please un-check the "Add website account" option.
This information entered in the online form will be recorded into the Tandem Club's secure database. Any credit/debit card details supplied to NOCHEX on their secure site are not available to the Club. The Club's policy is not to give or sell any of this information to anyone outside the Club. Members' names, addresses and any other information are used for Club purposes only.
If you have any questions please contact the Renewal secretary.
